The Spanish company Alisys has just signed an agreement with the Asian robot manufacturer DEEP Robotics, a leading company in the sector. They are the creators of the Jueying quadruped robot and its multiple models, which will become part of Alisys' robotics solutions offer.
Robot Jueying
The partnership agreement with DEEP Robotics brings with it the upcoming addition to Alisys' robotics platform of Jueying, an intelligent quadruped robot capable of autonomous positioning and navigation, real-time obstacle avoidance and visual recognition.
Since launching their first model of the Jueying intelligent quadruped robot series in 2017, DEEP Robotics has regularly increased their offering and today has four versions of this robot. It features high working load capacity (up to 50kg) and scalability, IP 66 industrial-grade waterproofing, autonomous charging, high processing power and perceptual accuracy. In addition, it can adapt to complex terrains and overcome obstacles thanks to its depth detection camera and laser radar.
As a partner of Deep Robotics, Alisys will be in charge of distributing the devices, as well as developing the necessary software to unlock their potential and apply them to different sectors. In this sense, the Spanish technology company is already working on the incorporation of the Chinese company's quadruped robots into its robot fleet management, control and analysis platform.
Alisys' goal is to provide an optimal robotic solution for the management of safety and intelligent inspection of factories, industrial and commercial facilities, warehouses, and parks, among other sites.
Another of its applications is the circulation through complicated or dangerous environments, presenting a solution for fire control, rescue, and other special situations. It can also be of great use in the educational and research fields since the locomotion and perception development interfaces allow users to access the development of algorithms in a fast and comfortable way.
The recent agreement with Deep Robotics makes Alisys one of the strongest companies in this type of technology development in Spain, as it joins other agreements such as the partnership with Boston Dynamics, which it has held since 2020, with Softbank Robotics, ZoraBots, or Furhat, among others.
The Alisys robotics platform
The technology offered by DEEP Robotics is to be implemented within the Alisys robotic platform for integrated management of people, autonomous robots and devices, and IoT. This platform, pioneer in the world and qualified by the Spanish Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology as "of high innovative value" allows the deployment, operation, monitoring and analysis in a unified way of heterogeneous robot fleets regardless of the manufacturer.
The robotic platform makes it possible to implement collaboration between robots, which can share information easily and in real time, in addition to facilitating their block programming and optimizing their autonomy. In addition, it makes it possible to control and program joint orders, saving the time it would take to do it for each robot individually. All this results in higher productivity of operations and cost reduction.
Thanks to the large volume of data collected in real time by the different devices, the platform enables informed decision-making. Another advantage of the robotic platform is that it allows the automation of the programming processes of all the robots on the platform. Furthermore, it stands out for its accessibility since its use does not require high programming skills.
Increased productivity, reduced operating costs, valuable time savings, adaptability to non-specialised professional profiles and cooperation between robots are the main proposals with which the Spanish company aims to position itself in the emerging global robotics market through software development.
